Pokémon Sun & Moon Demo Now Available

The first chance to play the next instalment of the Pokémon series has finally arrived.

From October 18, players will be able to download the Pokémon Sun and Moon Demo from the Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo 3DS. The full release of the game comes out on November 18.

It will be the first time Pokémon trainers get to explore the new Alola region, with all new Pokémon, and some twists on the classic ones. The demo is also a standalone adventure, so it will give players the opportunity to try out the updated gameplay without the risk of spoilers to the main storyline.

For those who are considering waiting a month until they get the proper version of the game, a limited edition Pokémon is on offer that you can only get in the full game from playing the demo. Ash-Greninja will accompany you on your demo journey, and once you’ve completed it, you can transfer your frog buddy to Pokémon Sun & Moon after launch.

The Pokémon Sun & Moon demo is now available to download for free on the Nintendo eShop.
