New Games Guide | June 2017

So we’re halfway through the year… What better time to head back into the past to get some stellar classics and a couple of great new games.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind

Release Date: June 6    Platform: PS4 / PC / Xbox One

The next Chapter in The Elder Scrolls Online begins this month. Return to the iconic island of Vvardenfell for over 30 hours of adventure in a brand new location, with a new class, a new PvP mode, a new Trial, and so much more. The new class is the first since Elder Scrolls Online launched back in 2014, so the Morrowind update will certainly bring you back into the world of ESO.

Dead by Daylight

Release Date: June 23    Platform: PS4 / Xbox One

If you ever want to live out a real life horror movie, Dead By Daylight is probably the closest you’re going to get without y’know, the actual threat of death. You can either team up with friends to try escape from the monster dude or BE the monster dude. It’s incredibly gruesome, so if you’re into your horror, the PC original game is just for you.

Micro Machines: World Series

Release Date: June 23    Platform: PS4 / PC / Xbox One

In the first of the childhood favourites making a comeback this month, Micro Machines returns with World Series for the new generation. The racing royalty of a game is finally back from the depths of gaming history after its original release in 1991. The tabletop racing in this was the absolute one, so they’ve hopefully kept that feel in its resurrection.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Release Date: June 30    Platform: PS4

Yet another legend is returning. The game is a collection of remasters of the first three titles in the Crash Bandicoot series: Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back and Warped, which were all originally developed by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation. It’s been a long time coming, but my god, smashing boxes with Crash again will bring back some memories. And if you’re one of the sorry souls who has never jumped into the Crash Bandicoot world, there’s no better time than now.
